Long periods of inactivity can impact your status. To remain active in our system, you must claim and work at least one shift per 12 consecutive months. If you don't work in 12 months, your account may be deactivated due to inactivity.
If you are currently active and want to continue using your Shiftgig app, you absolutely can! As long as you express your interest in Shiftgig by using your app to claim and work shifts, we’re happy to have you on board.
If you’ve been deactivated due to inactivity within the past 30 days, you may reach out to the Community Success team to request reactivation. Outside of the 30 day period after deactivation or after multiple deactivations, you must reapply to be eligible for reactivation.
Because you took a little break from using your app, you may want to review some of the resources we’ve created to make working for Shiftgig even easier:
This FAQ – This should always be your first stop whenever you have questions. It contains answers to your most common questions (and some uncommon ones!) and is updated regularly. You can access the FAQ at any time by tapping the option in your Shiftgig app settings. One article Specialists who haven't used their app in a while find helpful is How do I reset my password?
Shiftgig Upskilling Platform – This platform contains online courses and optional training programs that can help you to use your app, understand best practices, and gain new skills.
The Community Success Team – If you can’t find an answer in the Specialist FAQ, the Community Success team is available to help with human resources, payroll, and app troubleshooting questions 7 days a week. You can contact Community Success through the “Contact us” option in the Shiftgig app settings.
We look forward to working with you!
