Look at the shift details in your app to see if there is a specific on-site supervisor listed. When you arrive at your shift, find that person or the supervisor, and introduce yourself to check in.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to avoid a late arrival- You know what they say; if you’re 15 minutes early, you’re on time. Clients are counting on us and we show up on time, every time in the proper uniform ready to work.
Please note: You will only get paid for the time outlined in the app, you will not get paid for this 15-minute “Report Time” cushion.
- Arrive prepared- Have your ID on hand, dressed in your full uniform, and ready to work when you check in. Let your positive attitude and great service shine!
The timing of and the decision to grant Specialists break periods during shifts is solely dependent upon the client and in accord with applicable laws. If your on-site supervisor gives you a break of 20 minutes or more, you will both be responsible for keeping track of how long your break lasts and reporting it on your Timecard in the Shiftgig app.
When your shift is over, find your on-site supervisor to notify him/her of any incidents during your shift, report that all assigned duties are completed and that you are leaving the premises. Complete the Timecard within 24 hours after your shift ends to make sure you get paid on time.
